The Cheapest way to travel

The Cheapest way to travel the world is to travel with some travel buddies, this could range from friends or family; the mixture is most time wonderful. I had just started a travel club name Chedz Travel Club and I must say that I am proud of myself. Traveling the world or even just your country as a start is really amazing.

While you might be thinking and it is a fair question, isn't traveling your island or the world expensive? Yes, it is, but if you plan way ahead of time and travel with friends and family with similar interest it will be much cheaper.

I have found out that when you book your flight way in advance normally you can get a more reasonable price. Personally, I have always used Travelocity and Jetblue to book all my flight and also have just discovered South West Airline where you get two free travel bags to book with your flight. Cool, right?

When traveling you want to ensure that wherever you are staying is safe, close to the airport or even just close to the central point. When traveling in a group you want to ensure that you get a guest house which most of the time is way cheaper than a hotel. Airbnb, Booking.com, Tripadvisor are among my top three sites to look for places to stay.

Our journey begins on Good Friday of this year when the travel club took its first trip on the Island of Jamaica, Ocho Rios. We had booked into the beautiful hotel called the Hibiscus Lodge. According to the hotel website, The Hibiscus Lodge Hotel is a small boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Ocho Rios, set on three acres of luscious tropical flowers, a perfect getaway in heaven. The hotel is also rated by Tripadvisor and booking.com.

When planning a trip i is always good to have various activities to occupy the mind and soul of each travel buddies. One of our activities includes spending a day at the famous Dunns River Falls. Dunns River Falls is a popular location for tourist to visit on the island and for that whole three days, we were a tourist on our own island. Funny, right!
